Cohousing Open House - Sun Aug 11,2003

Interested in Cohousing? An informational open house is being held on Sunday, August 11, from 2:30 to 5:30 pm at Casa de Luz (1701 Toomey, off South Lamar) to acquaint the public with cohousing projects in the Austin area. There are five cohousing communities in the planning stages around Austin and San Marcos. Drop by anytime between 2:30 and 5:30pm to meet representatives from the different projects and learn more about cohousing. Interested in cohousing? Come to an OPEN HOUSE on Sunday, June 30 from 2-4pm at Book People (6th & Lamar in Austin). Several cohousing projects are currently in the planning stages around Austin and San Marcos. Drop by any time from 2- 4 pm to meet representatives from the different projects and learn more about cohousing. We are changing our CACTUS meeting times to the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm. People new to cohousing can get an orientation from 6:30-7pm. The rest of the meeting will be for CACTUS business from 7-8:30pm. Check the calendar for more details

CoHousing: Building old-fashioned community in a new way. CACTUS (Cohousing Association of Central Texas Umbrella Services) will be hosting "Cohousing 101, an Introduction" on March 3rd from 12-5pm at Book People (6th & Lamar in Austin). Come learn about cohousing and meet representatives from several cohousing projects currently being worked on in the Austin area (including San Marcos).
